Sunday Sundown Rundown - 4/12/15

3 Up

1. Return of MLB Baseball - So glad to see the great game back. Baseball everyday? YES, PLEASE!

2. Welfare Reform - Kudos to Maine on reforming Welfare. I can't agree more on the initiatives taken here. I'm hoping more states follow to prevent many from taken advantage of a system that should be there to help support those who need it.

3. Good Deed for a Good Teacher - I came across this story and appreciated the generosity. So...it made the "Up" section.

3 Down

1. Walter Scott Murder - Another one of these situations. And this time, the whole thing was captured on video. No grey areas on this one. To say there isn't a stereotype when it comes to law enforcement and protecting the public is quite foolish at this point.

2. Al Sharpton - This guy is so annoying. Talk about a race baiter who takes advanage of delicate situations for his own good. So glad to hear the family of Walter Scott wanted him to stay away from the situation to avoid what they called, "Ferguson circus".

3. Bad Mother - So this mother thought it was cool to leave her quadriplegic son in the woods. What in the heck is wrong with people?

1 Unsure

1. Hilary Clinton - This was definitely expected. Now, is she the best candidate for 2016? I'm really not sure.

Sunday Sundown Rundown - 11/19/17

3 Up
1. Lt. Sayem Basad Pacha - No one will ever know what went through Pacha's head before he bear-hugged a suicide bomber the moment the vest was detonated. I can't even wrap my mind around the thought process. Whatever it is, this man is one thing - hero. And that's in the purest form.
2. Kianoush Rostami - The earthquake that rocked the Iran/Iraq border was devastating. Yet, here is Rostami giving up his prized possession of an Olympic gold medal to raise money for the relief effort. Much respect.
3. WWE War Games - In a more light-hearted "Up" this week (we need that from time-to-time, no?), the WWE's Survivor Series weekend was just fantastic. But man, so much props to everyone who put work into Saturday's NXT show, as well as the return of War Games. That match was so awesome.
3 Down
1. Rob Moore - All I will say is this - it's bad when even something such as sexual assault is now becoming a topic and a driving force for identity politics. Re…

2012 Bucket List - #15 Complete a Jigsaw Puzzle

When was the last time you completed a puzzle? Seriously, when was the last time you completed a jigsaw puzzle? Yes, a jigsaw puzzle! If, ever?
These days, the art of the puzzle seems so far fetched and almost so two-decades ago that the thought of completing one is about as current as recording your favorite songs off the radio using a tape cassette.
However, as a bucket list tasks for 2012, yours truly wanted to do exactly that. After all, it is a task that takes me back to a childhood of doing puzzles with my mom, and of course, can enhance and sharpen some of the mental attributes that may be diminishing in the technological, focus-challenged, attention deficient society we all live in.

The Pondering 10 - Dream Pro Wrestling Matches

Just like any sport, movie, or form of entertainment, pro wrestling has produced many memorable characters, moments, and eras that fans hold dearly. The memories, debates and discussions that have formed over the years have caused all of us to at one time fantasize about our dream scenarios. We all have them. And yes, we all have our dream matches, even if they will not ever happen. The following Pondering 10 list takes a look at my top pro wrestling dream matches, with of course, all of the participants being in their prime.
