The IF Factor: Questions Answered #451-460

451. If you could plan the perfect evening out, what would it involve?

It really doesn't take much for me. I'm a rather simple guy. The perfect evening would be watching a good game (Yankees, Knicks, or Red Bulls) with my wife, a solid dinner, and somehow being able to enjoy it all on a beach. Maybe doing all of it on a beach...in the Caribbean...yup, that's it. That's perfect.

452. If you could program the perfect evening of television shows, which ones would you select, and in what order?

I'm guessing television shows which would exclude sports? And for the sake of being me, I won't choose any pro wrestling as well.

The Wonder Years. Everybody Loves Raymond. Friday Night Lights. The Cosby Show. And Suits.

That's a lot of television for me. That would easily be a week for me. Yes, I know, I don't watch much television.

453. If you had to name the dumbest purchase you've ever made, which would it be?

Other than a few video games during my childhood that I hoped would be good, the only thing that comes to mind is a Pittsburgh Pirates I once bought on-line at Marshalls. It was $6. I wore it once, because well, I'm not a Pirates fan.

Come to think of it, I also bought one of those red "memorial day" Yankee hats on the line of Marshalls as well - also $6. Stupid Marshalls.

454. If you could receive all the products from a single company for free (but could not resell them), which company would you choose?

Nike. Can't really go wrong there.

455. If you had to describe the perfect body, what would you say about it?

Athletic and lean. I've never been one for guys who are so jacked up they look like balloons or comic book characters come to life.

456. If you could have the autograph of one person from history, who would it be?

Mariano Rivera. I know, I'm sure there is someone else that would be worth more, but Mo's is one I know I would really appreciate. Like frame and place on the wall, appreciate.

457. If you could have any view from your home, what would it be?

Beach. Ocean. Sand, Sunsets and Sunrises.

458. If you could have asked Richard Nixon one thing, what would you have asked?

If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently in regards to Watergate?

459. If you could have the world's largest collection of one thing, what would it be?

I'm not really one for gathering or "collecting" many things. As stated earlier, I'm a simple guy. But I guess I would go with baseball cards. Anything else probably would be a nuisance in my apartment.

460. If you could have been the hero from any war, which war would it be, and for what heroic deed?

World War II. Capturing Adolph Hitler.

Sunday Sundown Rundown - 4/22/18

3 Up
1. Tammie Jo Shults - Kudos to the captain of the Southwest aircraft that blew an engine. Shults was able to land the plane safely with busted engine, thus minimizing the fatality of the fiasco to just the one person who unfortunately was sucked out of a window. So crazy. All of it, so incredible.
1a. Southwest In-Flight Crew - More kudos to TJS's staff who not only pulled a woman being sucked out of a plane back into the aircraft, but managed to keep everyone onboard safe and poised during the emergency.
2. James Shaw Jr. - There were even more heroes this week as James Shaw Jr. wrestled a rifle away from a madman who rushed a Waffle House in Tennessee and opened up fire. Took lots of guts, but Shaw saved countless lives.
3. LeBron James - I don't understand how any sports fan can say anything about LeBron James. The dude once again is carrying a rather dubious contending roster on his back during these playoffs.

1. Bartolo Colon - Mannnnnnnn, this dude at 44 years old and at who knows how many pounds overweight, almost threw a perfect game against the defending World Series Champions on National television. Bartolo, don't you ever change.
2. Beyonce - I probably could just leave this "UP" as just "Beyonce", and really, most wouldn't even bat an eye at it. Regardless, she earned it this week, slaying as always. Beyonce killed it at Coachella with some awesome performances, reuniting with Destiny's Child, and of course, making history as the first black woman to headline the festival.
3. New York Mets - Even this Yankees fan has to give it up to the Mets and their hot start. They are playing some fun baseball, and well, it's backed by those big arms they need to rely on. Kudos to the Amazin's!

2013 Bucket List - #29 Attend Wrestlemania

It only took me twenty eight years and twenty-nine events, but I finally (finally!!) made it to Wrestlemania. I've attended so many wrestling events in my lifetime, from small local shows to pay-per-view events, from small local promotions, to the global companies, but never had I gone to the big one - Wrestlemania.
Upon hearing the huge event was returning to the metropolitan area at Met Life stadium, I knew I had to attend. As soon as tickets went on pre-sale, I purchased them...way back in November. I knew, if not now, then when? If not this year, then probably never. Some might not understand the importance of it, but to crazy wrestling addicts like myself, this is the show. And while it wasn't on the 2013 Bucket List, this was on my absolute lifetime list, and this past Sunday, I placed a big fat check mark next to it. The following is a little review of my Wrestlemania 29 experience, live!

The Pondering 10 - Favorite MLB Uniforms

Unlike most sports, baseball uniforms carry a lot of tradition and history. It's rare that you see baseball teams deviate away from the history of a club, and if they do, it's usually an ownership change. For the most part, in baseball, the uniforms are sacred. Because of that, Major League Baseball has many teams with uniforms that are very, very significant, and also, very stylish. As we did for the NFL (Pondering 10 - Favorite NFL Uniforms), the following Pondering 10 will take a look at my favorite MLB uniforms.
