The IF Factor: Questions Answered #171-180

171. If you could go back in time, as yourself, to live for one year at any point in history, what year would you choose, and where would you go?

I would love to go back to Junior High School as I had a lot of fun and had many memories there. However, for the sake of redemption and a clear do-over, I will select my senior year of college. I would love to have that year over, and possibly handle a few things differently. And heck, maybe even blog throughout it.

172. If you were to receive a letter today from anyone you have known during your lifetime, who would it be from and what would it say?

From my brother. It would say, "sorry (to me and my family), I was a total idiot".

173. If you could have received a telegram from one famous person now alive, who would it be from, and what would it say?

Mariano Rivera. It would say, "Dear friend and my biggest fan, please come down to Panama with me, and I will show you how to throw the cutter."

174. If you were to be successful in another profession, what would you want to do?

Ohh, probably something in the communications field. But I love athletics, events, and recreation. No change planned in the future.

175. If you had to spend all of your vacations for the rest of your life in the same place, where would you go?

Tough one. Probably, St. Lucia.

176. If you won a lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

I would buy my parents a house.

177. If you could be a member of any club or association in the world, what would it be?

I've always been a loner. I'm not sure there is a club or association I'm dying to be a part of. Maybe, I'd help volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club of America.

178. If you were given $5,000 to spend in one store in the world, where would you do your shopping?

Best Buy. Hello 80" television.

179. If you were to perform in the circus, what would you do?

Coordinate each event. I'm definitely not circus talent material.

180. If you could master one type of cuisine, which one would you choose?

I would say Mexican, because it's my favorite, but I'd go with Italian because it sounds impressive.

1. Hollywood Victims - Much props to the many men and women who have taken the step in telling their story about sexual assault and being the victim of displays of power for sexual gain within Hollywood. It's tough, especially in such an unforgiving business like show business, but it takes guts to tell the truth - much respect to you all who did so.
2. Joe Girardi - Have you ever seen a more brutally honest manager or head coach during a playoff stretch? Girardi has been letting his soul bare on mistakes, feelings, lineups, results, decisions, his family, his time in New York, and anything and everything else. I have a feeling Girardi is walking away, after this season, and if he is, I'm glad he's doing it by just being him.
3. Eminem - I've seen some new school fans insult Eminem and downplaying his ability. I'm still a fan. After all, no one - NO ONE - captures anger in their music like Em. No one. Still so captivating. And yes, his freestyle of President …

Dome Pondering Export - "TNA's Biggest Problem Is..."

After ten years of importing materials, words, pictures, and videos from other sites her for your viewing and for archiving, I never thought I'd get to the point where I'd be EXPORTING material out to other sites. Yes, the DP continues to grow, and yours truly had the kind opportunity to contribute a guest column to an awesome Pro Wrestling blog with a very large audience. The piece has since been very well received, and I hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future, and maybe even other sites and avenues as well.
You can read the column here on the TNAsylum website (special thanks to them as well for posting), or the entire text below:

1. Heroes in Las Vegas - Among the heartbreak in Las Vegas are the many heroes who helped shield and save lives during the gun fire, as well as the many in hospitals who did some serious work in aiding the hundreds who flooded the hospitals in the area. Please, please, please be sure to read a story or two of the many who saved so many lives on that horrific night.
2. Jimmy Kimmel - Kudos to the Kimmel on his opening monologue following the Las Vegas terrorist attack (let's call it what it is). In fact, many of the late show hosts delivered rhetoric that the talking heads on 24 hour networks couldn't, and in many ways, were the words reflective of so many.
3. MLB Playoffs - Man oh man. How great have the MLB Playoffs been? I've been a nervous wreck with every moment of my New York Yankees. I still stand by it - best playoffs in sports.

1. Las Vegas Shooting Terrorist Attack - Shake. My. Head. Just unbelievable.
