Just when the wounds of "letting go" of Derek Jeter in Yankee Universe were beginning to heal from the separation Jeter has created in going incognito in his celebrity, they all have been ripped open this week. Here we are, during Jeter week and a few days away from retiring The Captain's number at 161 and River Avenue, and all of those moments come flooding back making us feel all nostalgic, and tingly inside from those memories we've been trying to move on from.
